I am using the kiosk in odoo 17 with a local server, and when I log in I get this message "We're currently closed"


I have tried to find where I can stop that message from appearing, but I haven't been able to.


This is how my kiosk appears to me.



What can i do?

Hi Guojian,

As I can see in your screenshot, your kiosk is still in the cash opening control. You have to do this in the frontend first - then the message should disappear and your customers can place their orders.

The cash opening control is created by the cash payment method - if your customers can only pay directly by card at the kiosk, I would recommend that you remove the cash payment method; then the cash opening control will not appear anymore.

HI,

This message is displayed when there is no active session in the corresponding POS to receive an order, so if you keep your POS session opened (like login a session and keep the session opened) then the above message wont be showing in the kiosk.
