We are facing a series of issues while trying to import bank statement data in Odoo 17 using the Accounting Dashboard - Import Bank Statement feature. Here is a detailed description of the steps we have taken and the errors encountered:
Steps to Reproduce:
- Generated a template by exporting from the account_bank_statement_line model.
2.- Without making any changes to the template, we attempted to import it back using the "Import" function in the Accounting Dashboard.
Errors Encountered:
Upon importing the file, the following errors are displayed:
- Error at row 1: "An error has occurred. The move (Draft Entry (* 63159)) is not balanced. The total of debits equals UYU 587.00 and the total of credits equals UYU 0.00. You might want to specify a default account on journal "MercadoPago" to automatically balance each move."
- Error at row 2: "An error has occurred. The move (Draft Entry (* 63160)) is not balanced. The total of debits equals UYU 539.51 and the total of credits equals UYU 0.00. You might want to specify a default account on journal "MercadoPago" to automatically balance each move."
- Error at row 3: "An error has occurred. The move (Draft Entry (* 63161)) is not balanced. The total of debits equals UYU 0.00 and the total of credits equals UYU 539.51. You might want to specify a default account on journal "MercadoPago" to automatically balance each move."
Additional Information:
We suspect that the issue might be related to the default account configuration in the journal "MercadoPago," but we are unsure how to proceed with correcting it or if there is any additional setup required.
