I have some issues with images: Some of them appear like having added granularity effect or blurry (including default library images). This happens on an instance I installed on digital ocean, usung ubuntu 12.14 and followed common instructions to install. I got also confused, where uploaeded images actually get, why I cannot see them in the media library in order to reuse? By the way, videos are not images, that does not seem to be very intuitive usage, to search for insert image, when you indeed are planning to insert a video.

when you upload the file there is one checklist (optimization upload)
uncheck that field because if it is checked the file will be compressed
Good to know, but then, how it comes, that also default images odoo already ships with are blurry? like at http://104.236.113.197:8069/
i dont see any blurry image
if mean the image in the banner just upload new image and dont check that optimization upload
