We are working with Odoo V17 and have a lot of products with a lot of variants.
We manage our price policy with a price list, where every variant has its price
For more than 30 years we could specify a certain discount on an article or category of articles for a certain customer or group of customers in our application.
It seems this is impossible in Odoo V17 or you need to make sales pricelists related to other pricelists.
Do you have a suggestion on how to manage this problem?

Yes, it seems to be the best way. From this way you handle all your price on the same object.
You can have your pricelist -15% base on your pricelist 'public price'. And you assign the pricelist on your privilegied customers.
