Hi all, we are small sized European based company, and we handle relations with both domestic and international partners. When I create a document (invoice, PO) I can see it is only exported in PDF format. But, for some customers, we may need to edit the invoice/PO due to language prerequisites/laws and etc... I just need to edit this for the printout, I don't need to change anything in the database. Is it possible to export such documents in editable format so I can print them in accordance to partners' needs? Thanks in advance Dejan

OpenERP is quite powerful in terms of internationalization of reports. So in most cases there should be a way to use the existing features for what you want to achieve. Also there is the comments field which can be used to write additional text to the invoice.

If this is still not enough for your case, you have got two options: - use a pdf edit tool to edit the pdf reports generated by OpenERPs reporting system - switch to another reporting engine like Aeroo Reports (https://launchpad.net/aeroo), with allows to generate reports in a variety of formats like odt, doc, xls, and so on. Unfortunately this switch also includes rewriting all the reports you wish to edit.

If you don't mind setting up another application to be integrated with OpenERP, Jasperreport Server would be able to cover your requirement. With it's robust reporting engine, from a single design, you can export to PDF,DOC,XLS.
