I am seeking advice on how to perform an inventory in Odoo for a past date. The issue I am encountering is that our inventory counting process can take several days, and by the time we apply the inventory adjustments, the date may not accurately reflect the state of the inventory at the start of the count.

Here's the situation:

1. We conducted an inventory count starting one month ago, which took a few days to complete.
2. During this time, several stock movements (incoming and outgoing) have occurred.
3. We need to ensure that our inventory adjustments reflect the accurate quantities and valuations as of the start date of the count.

Additionally, I have seen numerous third-party applications that might address this need, but I would like to know how to achieve this using Odoo's standard features.

Could anyone provide insights or best practices on how to handle such inventory adjustments for past dates in Odoo? Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
