I recently tried to use the "Final Location" column in receipts.

I set the intended final location there, and I was expecting to have the products each end up in their own selected final location when I clicked Validate.

This didn't happen, they ended up in the general Destination Location, and the Final Location column was simply ignored.

Is there a way to make it work? Maybe enabling the 2-step or 3-step receipt process?

The "Final Location" column. Is it likely a custom field added to your system ?

By default, in the receipt process, products are received into the destination location defined in the warehouse settings
