How to make a quotation model ?

Question

My company is always sells the same products so to save time they want me to do a model of quotation and then they only have to change the quantity of each product.

How can I make it?

I tried to save a model as a .csv file it doesn't work.

I also tried with OpenOffice module, it doesn't work too.

Anybody has a solution?

With version 7, I suggest you to work with webkit mako templating. You can get inspiration with this module:  http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~sale-core-editors/sale-reports/7.0/files/head:/sale_order_webkit/

Simplest way possible: create the SO you want to use as template and leave it as a Draft. Every time your people want to create a new SO, all they need to do is open your "draft template", go to more>duplicate. It automatically creates a new SO with the same parameters.

More complicated way would through programming...
