It depends on the goal - why you'd want this to be in Odoo. To log, to tell production to run the job, to consume some additinal parts, etc.

@Bruno, If a rework involves disassembly and reassembly, you can use the "unbuild order" function (in Manufacturing module, "Operations" menu) to break down the assembly into its initial components. You can then scrap any components that were bad (if any), and then run a new MO to rebuild.

If you simply need to have a scheduled manufacturing order to rework, you can create a copy of your item with a "remanufactured" designator, setup a BOM whereas the the reworked item would be made of the original item.  However, in this case the final item will be a separate product from the original.
