Hello Odoo Community,

I am using Odoo 17 and encountered an issue with tracking To-Do activities in the Chatter of a product under the Sales Module.

I noticed that a "To-Do" was marked as done by a user (e.g., Emy Thomson as seen in the Chatter logs), but I want to find out who initially created this To-Do activity.

I have already checked the Chatter section, but I can’t see any explicit information about the task's creator.

My Questions:

  1. How can I identify the user who created the To-Do in the Chatter of a product?
  2. Is there a way to check this via Developer Mode or through any other system logs?

Any guidance or step-by-step instructions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

Enable the developer mode:

  • Open Settings  → Technical →Activities -> Activity Overview 
  • Open the specific activity record, then click the debug (bug) icon → View Metadata. In that modal you will see Creation User / Created on (this is create_uid / create_date)
