I am a photographer and I would like to create a product that combines several services.

For example, I would like to create a product that combines:

- The shooting fee (there are 3 variants for 8, 10 and 12 hours shooting)

- A book (there are also 3 variants of books)

- A USB stick

The price of the combined article will generally be lower than that of the 3 articles taken separately.

The book and usb stick are not stocked items. I order them from a supplier each time I receive a customer order.

Each item has its own cost which can vary depending on the variants and I would like the cost of the combined item to be the sum of the costs of the items that compose it.

2. Create Combo product:

- Variants with price lower than separately items:

3. Config BOMs: (edited)

- Create BOM, BOM type set as "Kit":

(thank to Jaideep, I forgot "Apply on Variants")

4. Create Order:

- Choose your variant

- PO auto gen after confirm order to buy Book and USB:

This can be simplified to having just 1 BoM with all the variants products as components and use the 'Apply on Variants' field to specify the variant where the component is used. When left blank it applies to all variants e.g USB which is consumed in all combo variants.

thank you, I just edited my answer
