I have products that I sell individually, and that are on BOMs to create other sold products.  I'm on version 15 and there still seems to be no easy way to find sales and usage of a particular part over a particular time period.  I don't understand how an ERP can not tell you what your sales and usage of a particular part are.  I feel like I have to be missing something. Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi Angela

In Odoo version 15, you can analyze the sales and usage of a particular part over a particular time period using the following steps:

Go to the Inventory app and select the "Reporting" menu item.
Select the "Stock Movements" report.
In the "Group By" dropdown menu, select "Product Category" or "Product".
In the "Filter" section, select the product or product category for which you want to analyze sales and usage.
Select the date range for the time period you want to analyze.
Click on the "Apply" button to generate the report.

This report will show you the stock movements for the selected product or product category, including the quantity received, delivered, and adjusted, as well as the current stock level. You can use this information to analyze the sales and usage of the particular part over the selected time period.

Additionally, you can use the "Sales" app in Odoo to analyze sales data for individual products. You can view sales orders, invoices, and quotations, as well as generate sales reports by product, customer, or salesperson. This can help you track sales trends and identify opportunities for growth.

I hope this helps you analyze the sales and usage of your parts in Odoo version 15. Let me know if you have any further questions or if there is anything else I can assist you with.
