Hello everyone,

I have created new custom module want to add few tax account and account in running database.

Demo data created for taxes and account in template model as those are created by existing/base module.

Module installed sucessfully but records are only appears in both templates account.account.template, account.tax.code.template.

But i want them in account.account and account.tax.code as well.

How would i resolve this issue?

I have tested with new database works well. creating entries in both tables for each account.

But not working in existing one.

Why we have restriction on creating other records in account.account table and account.tax by using demo data.

Any idea or guidance will be appreciated.

Hi All,

As i have checked many alternative ways to find solution for adding new accounts in both templates and default model table couldn't find the way.

I go through this way this works for me.

As we know when we install any chart of account as demo data in chart of account module having information of all these tables.

account.account.template, account.tax.code.template, account.tax.template.

when we install specific chart of account which helps us to creates records inside these tables

acccount.account, account.tax.code and account.tax

But from custom module it is not possible to add new accounts records in all the template tabels (account.account.template) which creates records in related tables too!

I have directly created records inside account.account, account.tax.code and account.tax.

Would it affect if we don't have those accounts records in template tables?
