How to add products up to the available stock quantity in my store?

*Hello Team,*
I have recently installed the open-source Odoo 17 platform on a DigitalOcean droplet for my small e-commerce online shop.
I added some sample products, and during a shopping test, I noticed that I can add more products to the cart than are available in my store.
*What is the expected result?*
How can I restrict the cart so that customers can only add products up to the available stock quantity in my store?

you can de-select the *continue selling* option from the Product form.
