I accidentally moved something around, and since then several menu items changed order. I have no idea about the logic behind changing the menu settings. If i move an object around to see what happens - next time i check the settings, the whole thing is rearranged. Anyone?

Menu items are ordered based on sequence numbers defined in the XML file that adds the item. Try adding sequence numbers to menu items you add with a custom module that fit into the menu items of the module you are adding to. Or try updating the module - in settings > installed modules - with the problem, that should wipe out changes you made

Go to APPS > Main APPS > (search the module example CRM) > Upgrade
You can try do edit the sequence of the menu. (setting -> Technical -> User Interface -> Menu Items)
