How do I import variants for an existing product?

a variant must be created with the following information:
color, size, ean, cost, image, quantity

The colors, sizes already created in attributes. I know the main product's external id (its __import__.product001)

To import variants for an existing product in Odoo 17 CE, follow these steps:

  1. Export the product with its attributes (color, size, etc.) from the product.template model. This will show you the correct format for one product.
  2. Use the exported CSV as a template. Add your other products, including their external IDs (e.g., __import__.product001) and attribute values (color, size, EAN, cost, image, quantity).
  3. Ensure attributes (colors, sizes) are already created in Odoo and include their external IDs in the CSV.
  4. Import the updated CSV back into Odoo. Odoo will automatically create the product variants based on the attribute values.

in Clothing every variants has different EAN code, Barcode, quantity, and also images!

in your examples only the Template products can have these attributes...
