I took the free ODOO account for Peppol and I'm trying to get scanned invoices in the accountancy app, as a test. Next year, I'm planning to make my invoices in the ODOO app, and receiving won't be a problem either, because e-invoicing is obliged in Belgium, so I will receive them via Peppol. But my accountant wants me to do Q4 as a test, so now I scanned an incoming invoice and I got in ODOO, but I don't know how to get it to Peppol.  Everything I find by google speaks of invoices made in ODOO...

Nederlands : ik heb een gratis ODOO account aangemaakt om te voldoen aan de in België verplichte e-facturatie vanaf 2026 (1 app zou gratis zijn, dus ik koos boekhouding). Vanaf volgend jaar zou ik mijn facturen dan ook maken in ODOO, en ontvangen zal via Peppol zijn, maar mijn boekhouder staat erop dat ik het systeem al eens 'probeer', dus moet ik voor Q4 alle inkomende en uitgaande facturen inscannen en dan zou ik ze via ODOO in Peppol moeten krijgen, maar ik heb geen idee hoe dat moet ?  Alles wat ik op google vind spreekt over facturen die gemaakt zijn in ODOO...

Hello Hilde,

Odoo is fully compatible with receiving invoices through the Peppol network. However, it’s important to note that Peppol is only a transmission channel for sending and receiving invoices — it is not a tool for storing or managing them.

You can follow this official documentation to configure Odoo for sending and receiving e-invoices:: https://www.odoo.com/documentation/19.0/applications/finance/accounting/customer_invoices/electronic_invoicing.html

Once everything is set up, you'll need someone using a Peppol-connected system (for example Odoo of course ) to create and send an invoice to you. That’s the easiest way to test incoming invoice reception.
