Your configuration logic was correct, but Odoo did not create the second picking because push and pull rules only trigger when the corresponding route is fully assigned and aligned with product and warehouse operations. Although you defined the A1 → T_B push and T_B → B1 pull rules, Odoo will not evaluate them until the route is explicitly assigned at the warehouse or product level. Without this assignment, the system treats the transfer as a normal internal move and ignores the chained routing logic.

To make the automation work, the custom route must be activated on Warehouse A or on each product involved. The push rule must specify A1 as the source, T_B as the destination, and link to the correct outgoing operation type. The pull rule must define T_B as the source, B1 as the destination, and reference the internal receipt operation type. Once the route is assigned and both rules are configured properly, validating the first picking (A1 → T_B) will cause Odoo to trigger the pull rule and automatically create the second picking from T_B to B1 in a “Ready” state.

Try the following steps,

1. Assign the route to the right warehouse

Inventory → Configuration → Warehouses → Warehouse A

Under “Routes”, activate your custom route:

Flow Warehouse A to Warehouse B Via Transit

Without this step, the push rule will never trigger.

2. Fix the Push Rule (A1 → T_B)

Correct rule:

      - Action: Push

      - Source Location: A1

      - Destination Location: T_B

      - Operation Type: Your “Shipments to B” delivery

      - Automatic? Yes

This generates a new transfer only when stock arrives into A1 or is removed from it in a picking using this route.

3. Fix the Pull Rule (T_B → B1)

Correct rule:

       - Action: Pull

       - Procure Method: Take from Stock

       - Source Location: T_B

       - Destination Location: B1

       - Operation Type: “Inter-warehouse Operation”

       - Automatic Move Creation: Yes

Pull rules trigger when Odoo needs stock in B1, not when stock just arrives in T_B.

The push rule must hand off to the pull rule.

4. Assign the route to the product

Go to the product → Inventory → Routes → Tick:

Flow Warehouse A to Warehouse B Via Transit

Odoo only evaluates push/pull rules for routes assigned to the product.

5. Validate the A1 → T_B picking using the route

Now when you validate the first picking:

        - Push rule fires: A1 → T_B completed

        - Pull rule fires: “We must move this stock from T_B to B1”
