Each week I send items to Amazon so they can fulfil for me. 

I would like to deduct the inventory from my main warehouse, but since I still own the Inventory, I still want to see it in my Inventory Report, Inventory Valuation Report and Balance Sheet. 

Each week I receive a report from Amazon on what they have sold, so I would like to create a weekly Sales Order to represent the revenue from my sales and to deplete the Inventory so I know how much to send to replenish - even better if Odoo can help me with a weekly Delivery Order that will keep my Amazon inventory and the required levels.

Is there a way to process Receipts to an "Amazon" warehouse when products are delivered to them but still show items in Inventory reports as mine?

By using the Inter-warehouse transit location, two shipping addresses on the Company, a location outside the main warehouse location (representing the Amazon inventory) and an operation type with a push rule, any delivery that is made to the Amazon "warehouse" (just a location) will generate a "Receipt" so that there is a way to record the outgoing delivery (performed by the Company) and incoming receipt (performed by Amazon, but then performed by the Company after Amazon verifies quantity and reports back any poor quality or damaged products.)


Check on Storage Locations and Multi-Step Routes in Inventory Configuration Settings:


Unarchive the Inter-warehouse transit location:



Create two Shipping Addresses:


Change the Customer and Vendor locations to the location you unarchived earlier (for both addresses):



Link the main address to the Warehouse:





Create a second internal location - note that this is OUTSIDE the hierarchy of the Big Warehouse:





Create an Operation Types to handle the Receipt:





Create an Operation Types to handle the Delivery Order:





Create a Rule to auto generate the Receipt:
