How can I create a custom accounts package (chart of accounts) for my multi-company installation?

Question

I am going with a multi-company accounting system. There are multiple accounts in India accounting package, but I want to keep some limited accounts and some limited ledger as per my industry. These accounts and ledger will be copied in each company I have or I will create.
How can I create an accounting package of my own?
