From what I've seen, you can either use lot or serial number for trace ability, I want to use both. I want to use multiple lots when buying products from vendors, then I want to add serial numbers for each products in each lot. How can I achieve this?

product can be tracked by lots or by serial. not both(because it not the same thing).
so where i see possibility and work around.
buying products e.g. box (it contain x or y products), box tracked by lots.
selling by units. but still you will have the same lot. for that shipment.
another way-use manufacturing.
buy e.g. box of something with one lot.
MO with one step and get x 10 by serial. but you will have add operation.
in this point of view I am looking how to solve it without customizing, but customizing and adopting process.
hi, you can use multiple lots or serials. but on the same products make different trace-ability you will not achieve(normally). and it want work correctly in odoo. believe me...
What I want is, when I purchase in large quantity, I want to set lots (for each batch ) to distinguish them separately. And when I sell, I want to set serial numbers for each product in batch, I want to see the batch and serial number.
