hello guys,

After Google made updates to the security measures related to app access, I was unable to resolve the issue as no message could be sent from Odoo, and where I also set up Office365 as an outgoing mail server and it gives "Connection Test Succeeded! Everything seems properly set up!", and when I try to send a message (Unknown error: Mail Delivery Failed Mail delivery failed via SMTP server 'None'. SMTPDataError: 554 5.2.252 SendAsDenied)


Please advice

Hi,

It looks like the email address you are using to send emails is not recognized by your smtp server. 
2 Solutions: 
- Decrease security of your google account (The bad)
- Check that the sender is known. If this is not the case, modify the OdooBot email (archived contact) to put an email known from yout SMTP server

Thank you the issue has been resolved I didn't notice that I need to enable 2-Step Verification first.
