I'm just getting started in Odoo HR as a non technical.  I've used several HRIS systems in the past and can't work out the Contracting with Odoo.  It looks like the "Contract" is a couple of data fieldsm you send out and the future employee accepts.  In my HR role under the employment legislation I operate this is not a  full Employment Contract that outlines the full Terms and Conditions between the two parties.   From reading the documentation it looks like I'll need to create a full contract from scratch inputing all the data and attaching this document and having it signed old style not being able to use e-signatures....Am I wrong?  Help...need to create full robust contracts in the employment environments in which I operate.  Thanks

Thanks all for your help.  As an FYI for those who are interested, Contracts in Odoo language is different to Employment Contracts to the Non Technical profile.  What is shown on the Odoo videos just doesn't work.  Our contracts in Europe are several pages and include a large amount of information.  As an FYI I believe the way forward is to generate template contracts and key in much of the employment information required.  So requires more data entry than I've had to do since the '90's! but I'll need to make this work.  Hope Odoo will develop their HR module to compare with other HRIS systems out there.

Believe you would require the sign app to be able to create contract templates and have the specific fields populate for e-signature

Note sure if you had the opportunity to review the contract tutorials
