Hi,

I need to setup a fiscal position and with account mapping on a per product level

Products are sold from Austria to Hungary

Product: Powder

with 10% VAT is booked on Account A as a default. It needs to be mapped to account "AT to HU stanadard rate" when sold to HU

Product: Bar

with 10% VAT is booked on Account A as a default. It needs to be mapped to account "AT to HU first reduced rate"

How can I solve that both products are booked on the same account per default, but the account for the sale to HU is mapped to different accounts?

This is about account mapping and not tax mapping?

We solved it now by adding one account per product category.

Hi Joerg,

Out of the box, Odoo does not support account mapping on the product level.

However, you could set the account of

Product: Powder to AT to HU standard rate as a default

Product: Bar to AT to HU first reduced rate as a default

Create two fiscal positions

Fiscal Position 1: Name "Non HU customers"

Do not set a country for the fiscal position. In the accounting mapping,

Line 01
Account on Product: AT to HU standard rate
Account to Use Instead: Select "Account A" account

Line 02
Account on Product: AT to HU first reduced rate
Account to Use Instead: Select "Account A" account

Fiscal Position 2: Name "HU customers"

Set Hungary as the country for the fiscal position. In the accounting mapping,

Line 01
Account on Product: AT to HU standard rate
Account to Use Instead: Select "AT to HU standard rate" account

Line 02
Account on Product: AT to HU first reduced rate
Account to Use Instead: Select "AT to HU standard rate" account

Thanks,
Marc
