Hello! 

Me and my collegue are struggling to build our website's product pages. We sell electrical appliances, which require detailed specifications. We use Odoo SaaS with Studio.

Our Product Templates each have a custom field added with Studio, that contains an HTML table, which is editable in the Product Template form thanks to some simple Studio customizations. 
We wish to be able to display this simple HTML table on the website product pages, so that it can be edited in the form easily if changes are needed. How would one go about doing this?

Assuming your custom field is named x_studio_product_table and has content like this:



One method would be to create your own View that inherits the standard eCommerce Product page and adds your content.


This example places the table after the product attributes and before the product documents:


The Inherited View has the key website_sale.product


Result:


Note: If you are working with Odoo or an Odoo Partner on your implementation, please make them aware of the change so they can ensure it is checked during any future upgrade - it may need adjustments.
