I'm creating an informational field date in Odoo Studio - it is defaulted to yyyy-mm-dd and instead of allowing any date value, it is assigning the wrong date from what the user selected. 


Even after Selecting Aug 1, 2023 it is assigning a different value


Is it related to how this is set?  There is no condition set on this studio field other than this one -

Hi,

To change date formats in Odoo, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Odoo as an admin.
  2. Access the "Settings" module.
  3. Within the "Technical" section, navigate to "Translations" and select "Languages."
  4. Find your desired language or choose it from the displayed list.
  5. Locate the "Date Format" field and adjust it according to your preference using the appropriate format codes (e.g., %Y for year, %m for month, %d for day).
  6. Save the changes.

Upon modification, the new date format will be applied throughout Odoo for users who have selected the specified language as their preferred language.
