For the rental module I want to make a product reservation when the sales order is confirmed. After the product has been picked up, the reservation can be canceled. Has anybody an idea how to manage that? I tried it with creating a new transfer entry but somehow i'm not able to link it to the sales order. maybe it is easier to do it with the "execute python code" functionality - but I can't code in python. any ideas?

In the inventory configuration kindly changes the reservation policy -immediately after sales order confirmation.
It should be work for it.
enable the option in v14 like this =
(Reservation
When to reserve sold products
>>>>>>Immediately after sales order confirmation)
