Is it possible to use separate chart of account for Inventory Adjustment instead of using Stock In & Stock Out account?

I've tested in my environment using Odoo 12 Enterprise, by default Inventory Adjustment using Stock In & Stock Out account.

Thanks

Hello,

Configure the desired accounts on the locations that you will use to inventory adjustments and to scrapping products. Go to Inventory, locations, remove internal location filter and look for virtual locations. You should have at least one location for inventory loss (Which is adjustment), another one for scrap, and one for production. Click on one of this locations and you will have the option to set the GL account that you would like to hit when you perform any of these operations.

Hi Yuwono, you can change chart of account for inventory move. Go to Inventory --> Master data --> Products (Select any product) --> under General Information "Product category".

Hope this help you...

Thanks and regards

I don't think this answers his question. And I have the same. For posting inventory adjustment, we want to use other accounts than thos set as Stock Input account and Stock Output account.

I have the same issue on v11. Normal stock moves have to go through Inventory account, but inventory adjustments, like the ones made at the end of the fiscal year when inventories are counted and verified and adjusted, should and are usuually thrown against the P&L as a loss. Has anyone found a way to do this?

I'll bump this too. How do we use non-default accounts for adjustments?
