I downloaded the following three modules, put them in the "/odoo/custom/addons" folder in Ubuntu server, and unzipped all of them. But I can not find any of them in the app tab in my cloud-based odoo v13. I have turned on the developer mode. Could anyone help me with this problem? Thanks.

Hi,
There are few points to remember when you add new addons.
1) Add addons in correct directory with correct ownership
2) Add addon directory in odoo.conf file
3) Need to restart odoo service and update app list
4) Allow odoo user to access your addon

You don't need to reboot the server, restarting Odoo is enough. I would also recommend to use a separate addons folder for own and third-party addons.
Yes, I have installed other third-party addons into the same folder "/odoo/custom/addons" and they worked. So I don't think it is the first two issues.
I previously did not need to reboot the server. But I will try it this time, and see if this solves the problem.

I find another tricky thing. Some addons may block some other addons. For instance, if I install both "packaging_uom" and "app_odoo_customize", then "app_odoo_customize" will not be displayed. After I uninstall "packaging_uom", then I can find "app_odoo_customize" in App. I spent a lot of time to figure this out, so want to share it here in case it will be helpful to someone else.
