 I am trying to do the equivalent to press "Calculate minimum stock rules" under Warehouse menu when a new stock.picking is created.

I have configured an automated action which works everytime that a new stock.picking is created.

I know it works because I populate the field "add follower" and I can see that the follower is added to every newly created stock.picking.

However I am not being able to configure the specific server action.

What should be used as "base model/model_id/ir.actions.server" and which "action type/state/ir.actions.server" should be used to trigger "calculate minimum stock rules"?

Enable 'Run mrp scheduler' from ir.cron not enough?

If I understood it properly, zbik suggests to run mrp scheduler planned action.

So instead of an automated action, use the scheduler as planned action.

If that is what zbik means, it is the workaround I am currently using, however I wonder how it should be done to create an automated action, which is relevant for my specific Odoo deployment

Additionally, there could be more requirements like sending a SMS to procurement to put them aware that POs might need to be raised, so learning how to implement automated actions is definitively worth.

I think it must be something simple once you know it, but unfortunatelly t is hard to find documentation related to automated actions.
