Automatic Customer Discount

Question

Is it possible to assign an automatic discount (%) to a specific customer? So that every invoice they receive includes a specific discount amount?

Furthermore, is this possible to apply to selected item types within an invoice?

Hi,

Applying
automatic discount to a particular customer is only possible through
Price List Configuration :-

You
just need to create a Price List by going to Sales Menu>
Configurations

In
the Price List configuration, you would be able to apply the
discount you want

Once
the Price List configuration is done, you just need to assign that
Price List to that 	customer so that every you place a Sales Order
for him he gets a certain discount as configure 	by default

You need to install the module "Sale" and enable following features from "Settings->Sale":

" Allow setting a discount on the sales order lines" - This will allow you to explicitly set discount in % on line items
"Use pricelists to adapt your price per customers" - This will allow you to create "Price Lists" which are rules to calculate the price based on the Sales Price or on the Cost Price. The rules can be assigned to specific customer or to specific order/invice. In the later case, the price
