If I want to set the cost price manually initially, is it in the default unit of measure or the purchase unit of measure? I would think the cost price would be based on the purchase unit of measure, but my testing makes it seem that that is not the case.

Cost price is based on default unit of maeasure.
ie. uom in product form.
