This talk will describe improvements for software service providers who sell licensed products. We describe a real use case to manage and distribute different license types, like evaluation, on-premise or subscription licenses. We present a process for sales, contract care, distribution and prolongation of time limited contracts and services, customer and fully integrated partner commission billing. We have improved Odoo and OCA core extensions for contracts and service level tracking. The solution simplifies the evaluation license distribution, allows to generate license files from an external backend and integrates the popular developer workplace Atlassian JIRA.
