Odoo Partners with Hypur to enhance ERP and POS Solutions for Cannabis Businesses

Odoo - the leading provider of all-in-one, open-source business software for small- and medium-sized businesses worldwide,  is proud to announce the partnership with business technology company Hypur, the leading provider of compliant, safe, and sustainable payment and banking options for high-risk, cash-intensive businesses. The partnership is aimed to better serve their growing customer base, offering a solution that supports the cannabis industry to make payments in the safest way during these challenging times.

Amid COVID-19 many dispensaries lack the resources that they need to meet today’s growing demand for contactless payments, deliveries and curbside pickups to keep workers and customers safe during this unprecedented time. The cannabis industry is large and deserves access to sustainable technology and solutions. Daoud Naouri — Odoo strategic business development manager — noted the cannabis industry is one of the fastest growing in the world. Thus, this partnership between Odoo and Hypur is expected to strengthen and help grow a presence within the cannabis industry taking health and safety into consideration.

Michael Sinnwell, Hypur co-founder and president says "level the playing field for high-risk businesses of all sizes by providing modern digital payments and streamlining ERP, POS, and e-commerce operations - areas that need more enterprise-level solutions to meet growing market and customer demands,"

Odoo has taken the opportunity to make a change and help by providing its “easy-to-use, low-cost software to help businesses of all sizes meet the growing demands of the market and their customers.” Together, Odoo and Hypur will seek to ensure businesses remain compliant, competitive and have access to convenient and modern tools that will continue to help the cannabis industry grow.
