Despite having experience with several ERP and CRM systems in the market (such as SAP, Totvs, and Salesforce), VKMEDSEG’s director Fábio Lemos faced a major challenge: project management and document control for each client and job were carried out using multiple Excel spreadsheets.

This process, besides being slow and redundant, generated inefficiency and made strategic analysis difficult.

The lack of an integrated system resulted in delivery problems and issues with third-party validation, compromising the agility and security of operations. The search for a solution that could unify and automate these processes became a top priority.

The application became essential to optimize processes, especially in the Projects module. The team developed a Outsourcing​ Management routine that became a major competitive advantage:

  • Document Validation: Third parties receive a checklist by email and send their documentation back.
  • Indicators: A color system (green, yellow, and red) shows the status of each document.
  • Centralized Management: All documentation is digitally stored in Odoo, eliminating the use of paper and spreadsheets.

Thanks to this automation, VKMEDSEG won seven new bids at once. The agility, organization, and control provided by Odoo allowed the company to outperform competitors and grow in the market.

The Future: Expansion and Innovation with Odoo
