In the overview of warehouse, I want to have an entry under the button 'Print', which appears when selecting one or more delivery orders. It should allow me to select multiple deliveries, and print them all at once, instead of printing one by one.....

In the various questions, they tell you to make a report in an XML file, which points to the report you want to use. I want to use the default report, so I think I should not change anything regarding the RML file or the parser.

When copying from production the report for account.invoice (/addons/account/account_report.xml), I do get another entry under the print button, with the string I specified. But when I copy the report for the delivery order (/addons/delivery/delivery_report.xml), I do not see another entry under the print button.

When checking the reports at Settings -> Actions -> Reports, I do see an entry with my title.

The log file does show it is reading/loading the file which contains my reports, so I know it is read.

What did I forget to do or change?

The xml-definition file, with the invoices first (which do show up under the print button) and the Delivery orders as second report.

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<openerp>
  <data>
    <report
        id="account_invoices"
        string="Invoices Testing"
        model="account.invoice"
        name="account.invoice"
        rml="account/report/account_print_invoice.rml"
        auto="False"
        usage="default"
    />

    <report
        id="report_shipping"
        model="stock.picking"
        name="sale.shipping"
        multi="True"
        rml="delivery/report/shipping.rml"
        string="Delivery order Testing"
    />
  </data>
</openerp>

Did you find a solution for this?

Hi Patrick,

you do not need to do any enhacement to standard OpenERP in order to acheive what to are trying. All you have to do is first select the delivery orders you want to print and then click on the layout you need on the print select button. This will then generate a single pdf but all of the selected delivery orders are contained within this pdf on seperate pages.

hope this helps

Paul, the issue is, that for 1 customer having multiple orders, there are multiple delivery slips. The idea is to combine all those slips into 1 (new) slip, so they walk once through the warehouse. With the default options, they walk once for every order, or they have to read though all the slips for that customer and combine the various items/locations on the fly.

You ever figure out how do this?

Paul, the solution you give is to print multiple Delivery Slip, not Delivery Order. There are two reports under each delivery order. The Delivery Order is for shipping with goods. And the Delivery Slip is for internal reference. I think many user need the function to print multiple Delivery Order rather than Delivery Slip.
