Hello everyone, I would like to have your opinion on my way of doing things.
I have a company with 3 salespeople for 3 sectors in my country.
I am the only one to encode quotes and use odoo.
however, I must be able to attribute the sale to the correct seller.
how would you do that?
3 different sales teams and in each client I choose which sales team takes care of him?

Believe the way would be to have the sales people set up as internal users (they don’t need to signup or use Odoo) and assigned to the sale (crm or sales) or customer(contacts)
If there is limitation in adding users, sales team or tags or source/campaign/ medium could be alternate fields as you suggest. These fields are on sales orders as well as opportunities so you could assign, however are not available in contacts so by default you wouldn’t be able to assign a client to any of these fields.

Yes, to register an internal user would require licenses. The post below might provide an alternate to allow a portal user to be assigned to a sale. This might not require additional licenses.

Hi Chris, does what you mean is "when one of the three salespeople creating a SO or Quotation, it will assign that SO to them"? could you please elaborate more on the workflow that you expected to be?
hello to you 2. indeed what I would like is to be able to integrate "seller 1" seller 2 and "seller 3" in the contacts or the sales team and then in the contact form choose the seller 1,2 or 3. the problem is that to do this it asks me for an email address to register these sellers. if I had to register with a false email address, I imagine that I will have to pay 3 licenses except there is only one used? Thank you very much for your link. Unfortunately it is very complicated for me to do. I created 3 different sales teams. I activated the developer mode and thanks to that I can in the contacts indicate which sales team takes care of this customer. the goal is to be able to produce sales statistics. it's a shame not to be able to create sellers directly so as not to have to pay for an additional license, especially since my sellers will not be able to connect to odoo. thanks again
