You can use sale and rent as product attributes, then it will come automatically on the webshop. You can create your own search view, similar to the existing website search box. On the button to run a select query where the new field is the text given in the search box. So people will search for sale or rent products. As placeholder you can write 'sale' or 'rent'. Result will be products for sale or for rent or no products if the text is not sale or rent.
