The most likely reason is that the Odoo.sh platform recycled it. Note that development databases have no guaranteed lifetime and may be dropped unexpectedly.
You can rebuild a new database for this branch via the Builds page on your project.

Possibly a stupid quetion but is there a way to backu a dev database ?

If it is development db, it is fine to happen as return in the message, if it happened with live db, which is not expected to happen, seek the support from the odoo support at: https://www.odoo.com/help
If it showing for staging db's, try rebuilding the staging from the production
