Version: 15

When updating the description in a sub task I am receiving a message pop up:

(NOT a python dump error)

(NOT when creating a new sub task)

The document was already saved from someone with a different history for model "'project.task', field 'description' with id 509."

Notes:

509 is the sub task ID

This validation error is only coming up with new sub tasks as of a few days ago.

Older sub tasks for other tasks are not giving this validation error

UPDATE:
Our Odoo partner is facing the same issue, they are investigating and will update us on the status.

Will share the resolution once identified.

Me too I couldn't Edit the Description of Tasks

hello,
I got an answer from Odoo team saying that's been resolved.

There was indeed a new code build on odoo.sh (today timestamped).

Best regards,

Same here on Odoo.sh

Seems that Odoo made something wrong on a commit.

Maybe related to this : https://github.com/odoo/odoo/commit/18943a018a0ee90f38ad0cd32ae00420857d4469

Ticket opened to support team.

Hello

The same error occupied trying to change 'Planned dates' in the Task after 'Description' was added

"Validation Error

The document was already saved from someone with a different history for model 'project.task', field 'description' with id 1052."

*Tried to Update the 'Description' field through the Import and received another one:

"Unknown error during import: class 'TypeError' : 'NoneType' object is not subscriptable at multiple rows"

Waiting for a solution ...

This exact same error started occurring over the last few days for us too. It's started off only effecting a few tasks but it's now effecting nearly every one of them.

I thought that it was due to two different users editing the same task at the same time but that doesn't seem to be the problem now as it's effecting nearly all of our tasks.

I'll keep digging for a solution and post here if I find anything.
