I am trying to set up our custom domain.


I have done the following:

* Updated our DNS CNAME record to go to mhsvic.odoo.com for our domain (mansfieldhistoricalsociety.com.au).


* Odoo > Website > Configuration > Domain Name - added mansfieldhistoricalsociety.com.au.


On this screen (Domain Name) is says:

Regarding SSL/HTTPS
Odoo generates a certificate for you automatically, using its integration with Let's Encrypt Certificate Authority and the ACME protocol. You simply have to add your domain name in your customer portal. A separate certificate is generated for each domain name.


What do I need to do to set up SSL/HTTPS? It says to "add your domain name in your customer portal". Where exactly do I do that?

Hi,

If you are using odoo.sh ,in the settings page of odoo.sh project you can add your custom domain name then odoo will automatically generate SSL certificate for you.

So, what you have to do from your side is ,

Add a CNAME record inside your domain provider pointing to this odoo instance.

Add domain name inside odoo sh settings
