I'm just leranign how to use odoo, i'm not the admin. I'm using a free demo online service and i would like to user the mobile odoo app on my android phone, but i can't log in. The mistake must be in the username. i tried to log on with my email or user name it doesnt work. Anyone with any experience?

If you are odoo saas user, directly use your username and password.(don't add self hosted domain)
If you odoo server is self hosted then and then use self hosted domain.

Did you filled the server ip adress, or the url of your server, and the port 8069, before trying to connect to the server ?
i put in just the url of the server mycompany.odoo.com i didn't write the 8069 i will try it out
I am having the sama problem
Do i have to enable or install any new moduls in order to get the app working? i tried to put in the port 8069 as well. Can i kindly ask you to write an example? Thank you
