Hi,
The error message "No Rules has been found to replenish "Product" in "Inter-warehouse transit". Verify the routes configuration on the product" in Odoo indicates that the system cannot find a defined route to move the specified product from one warehouse to another, specifically through the "Inter-warehouse transit" location. This usually happens when Odoo's inventory management is set up to manage stock across multiple warehouses.
1. Check Product Configuration
Product Type: Ensure that the product is set to "Goods" as the Product Type.
Track Inventory: Make sure the "Track Inventory" checkbox is ticked on the product form. This is necessary for Odoo to track stock levels and trigger reordering rules.
Routes on Product: Go to the Inventory tab of the product form. In the Routes section, you should see routes related to your warehouses. Make sure the correct routes are selected for inter-warehouse transfers. A typical route would be something like "WH: Supply Product from WH2" (where WH and WH2 are your warehouses).
2. Verify Warehouse Configuration
Multi-Step Routes: Go to Inventory > Configuration > Settings and ensure that "Multi-Step Routes" is enabled under the Warehouse section.
Warehouse Settings: Navigate to Inventory > Configuration > Warehouses and select the warehouse that is having the issue. Check the "Warehouse Configuration" tab. The "Incoming Shipments" and "Outgoing Shipments" settings determine the number of steps involved in receiving and delivering goods. The most common setup is to "Receive goods directly (1 step)" for incoming shipments and "Deliver goods directly (1 step)" for outgoing shipments. However, depending on your specific processes, you might be using multi-step routes.
Resupply Route: On the warehouse configuration page, check the "Resupply From" field. Make sure the central warehouse that will supply the shops is selected.
3. Configure Routes
Access Routes: Go to Inventory > Configuration > Routes.
Existing Routes: Check if there's an existing route for moving products between your warehouses. The route should specify the source location (where the product is coming from), the destination location (the warehouse needing replenishment), and the "Inter-warehouse transit" location as an intermediate step.
Create a New Route (if necessary): If no suitable route exists, create a new one.
Give the route a descriptive name.
In the "Applicable On" section, select the relevant options (e.g., Products, Product Categories, Warehouses).
Add rules to the route:
Pull Rule: A pull rule is triggered by a need for the product in a specific location. Configure a pull rule to move the product from the source warehouse to the "Inter-warehouse transit" location.
Push Rule: A push rule is triggered by the arrival of products in a source location. Configure a push rule to move the product from the "Inter-warehouse transit" location to the destination warehouse.
Hope it helps.
