Location of base module

Question

Hi,
I am involved in the evaluation of odoo for a financial institution and as such there is quite a stringent security process.
May I check where is the location of "base" as defined in the __manifest__.py file for base_setup (under Odoo v 15.0). Thanks in advance

your odoo source code -->  odoo -- >addons -- > base
