In Odoo, the Attendance module allows employees to perform Check In/Out, but I was wondering if there’s any way to also specify whether the employee is working onsite or remotely when they check in.
For example:
- When an employee clicks Check In, they could choose between “Onsite” or “Remote”.
- I’m not looking to use geolocation, just a simple option or field to indicate the work location.
- Ideally, this information should also be visible to other employees (e.g., in a list or dashboard) so they can see who is onsite and who is remote.
Does Odoo have any native feature for this, or would it require a custom development?
If anyone has implemented something similar, I’d love to hear your approach.
