Hi,

We're running Odoo 17 entreprise OnPrem.

We are an agro-food manufacturer and our clients require a certain product shelf life remaining when we ship them the product. Using removal dates works well when only one client purchases a certain product or when all clients purchasing a certain product have the same remaining shelf life requirements (i.e the product must still be 100 days away from it's Best Before date at the time of shipping).

The problematic case is when multiple clients have different requirements for the same product.

As an exemple:

We sell product 1 with a shelf life of 200 days from production date. Client A requires 100 days left when shipped, Client B requires 120 days and Client C requires 90 days.

My current solution is to simply set the removal date to the strictest requirement and manually assign products past their removal date to shipments to less strict clients. From past experience, I've seemed to have some issues handling products past their removal date and ended up with some weird results.

Has anyone faced the same situation and found a solid working solution?

Thank you!

Can you define "some issues" and "some weird results" in order to give readers more chance of understanding your situtation?

We've had issues with transfers being completed but stock not actually being moved and components lines in MOs being duplicated, causing traceability problems
