Are there specific modules for the textile industry?
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:

To develop generic module for all industries in Odoo, you cannot rely solely on Odoo SaaS for industry-specific expectations. Instead of, you should consider contacting Odoo or a local partner/ third party service provider to customize and implement Odoo for your textile industry ERP needs.

We have a solution for the same. We have developed set of custom modules to manage this as 'CatchW8', where you can manage the inventory, sales, purchase, invoicing, manufacturing etc. in dual units of measure. This module is used required in textile industry.

Hi there,
Could you re share the links?
Hi Paulo,
Odoo in standard does not really support the textile industry. Especially, if you have products with multiple variations, you will not want to use standard Odoo. One reason is that the system creates automatically all variations at once (the system is then overloaded with unused products).
In order to be able to work properly in that industry, you may want to check out the variant configurator developed by odooMRP. We have successfully implemented this (with small changes) at our customer.
Good luck
Eva P.

Your question is too vague. You should precise the features you are looking for rather than an industry. OpenERP has been built as generic as possible to serve many different industries. You should edit your question or add more details.
I guess that he wants, at least, some textile-specific fields in the Products module: fiber composition, weight, width, etc. And probably a production cycle which includes all the finishing steps needed to go from the raw fabric to the final fabric.
