I need to use a widget like "kanban_activity" for calendar that when clicked on the widget icon it shows the possible event states. But "kanban_activity" is specified to actividy_ids and to show the activity's schedulle.
Is there any way to create a custom widget for this puropose?

Yes we can create a custom widget. Follow the link of an app below which created a new widget called signature in odoo
