Our Odoo vr12 Enteprise is installed behind firewalls so that we don’t allow any external traffic to our Odoo. The reason for this is high data security policy.
Anyway, we want to utilize some of the Odoo apps which require external access in order to get the full benefit out of them (webshop, marketing, CRM for our distributors etc).

The only safe solution we have figured out is to create another Odoo installation and build an integration between these two instances.

Has anybody created this kind of set up? What are your experiences from it?
Is there any ready Odoo- Odoo integration app available?
Or has someone figured out some other kind of solution to solve this kind of situation?

Hi Henrietta,

I just came across this old post. If your or someone else is having a same issue with connecting two odoo instances we might have something for you: a syncing tool that is built inside odoo and enables you to connect different interfaces by just configuring it in the front end.

The specific odoo2odoo case is showcased here: Sync different Odoo systems in minutes

Hope this might still help.  Feel free to contact me / us :)

Hi Henrietta,

You can check out Salesforce Odoo Connector: https://eshopsync.com/odoo/ and with our package you can connect more or two Odoo Instances together with our two different subscription plan.

Hope this helps!

Thanks!

Hi Henrietta,

I've recently asked the same question  here . We are interested to develop this feature as it seems that there is no option, except connecting with a 3rd party provider like Google Apps or Office 365. https://www.odoo.com/forum/help-1/question/sso-for-2-odoo-instances-v12-and-v13-163510
