First, consider the location type and hierarchy. Odoo differentiates between "Internal Locations," which are for physical stock, and "Virtual Locations," used for accounting. Ensure your new locations are "Internal Locations." Also, check the parent location; if it's under a Virtual Location, it won't work. Your new locations should be under your main warehouse or another physical location.
Next, review the location configuration. Make sure the locations are marked as "Active," as inactive locations won't appear. Verify they're associated with the correct warehouse; otherwise, they won't be available for products in that warehouse. Also, confirm that the "Is a Scrap Location" option is disabled unless the location is specifically for scrap.
Then, consider user permissions. Ensure your user account has sufficient access rights to view and modify locations. Limited permissions might prevent you from seeing all available locations.
Finally, check for any search filters. When using the "Search More" option, clear any filters that might be excluding your new locations. Accidental filters can prevent them from appearing in the search results.
